About me

I am an evolutionary biologist currently working as a Marie Curie post-doc at the University of Zaragoza, Spain. My research focus on a wide range of topics, including evolution of pollinators and floral structures, plant systematic and phylogeny, population ecology, habitat management, conservation biology, and one of my favorite: the role of hybridization on plant diversification and extinction.

In addition to research, one of my recent on-going goals is the development of outreach activities that helps to improve public awareness about the importance of plants – and botanist – for our society.

You can also find information about my research on my publications, my Google Scholar Citations page, or my ResearchGate page. Check my field trips and conferences if you want to see how cool it is to be a botanist and my blog for up-to-date novelties mainly related to my current project: ORIGIN FP7 supported by the European Marie Skłodowska-Curie actions. Please contact me if you have any questions.
